The Expos may no longer be in Montreal but we bet you’ll want to road trip there this summer.
From July 31 through Aug. 2, the annual Osheaga Music and Arts Festival returns to the majestic Parc Jean-Drapeau for three explosive days of pop, rock, Hip-Hop, EDM, folk and more.
Just a few of the biggest names on the bill include the sonically-adventurous hitmaker Lorde, dance-y party-starter Tate McRae, alt-rock vets Twenty One Pilots, up-and-coming indie heroes Geese and renowned beat dropper Subtronics.
They’ll be joined by Sombr, Empire Of The Sun, Mt. Joy, Clipse and The XX.
Rounding out the eye-popping bill are Turnstile, The Neigbourhood, Kehlani, Gunna and Major Lazer.
Plus, as a neat added TV-crossover bonus, “Stranger Things” star Finn Wolfhard and “Heated Rivalry” theme song group Wolf Parade are also slated to perform.
In total, 87 acts (29 per day!) will take the stage over the long weekend.
And if you’d like to be there for all the genre-hopping fun, single and multi-day Osheaga passes are officially available now that the presale has ended.
At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on single-day passes was $201 USD including fees on StubHub (for Sunday).
Three-day passes start at $464 USD including fees.
According to the festival’s website, “every year, OSHEAGA makes sure to offer festival-goers a deliciously diverse selection, from flavorful dishes to vegetarian options and alcohol-free beverages.”
For those that have never been, “it’s a great place to catch many of the buzziest and biggest chart-topping artists all in one place,” Billboard Canada wrote in a review of last year’s Osheaga.
“Aside from a few hiccups…it was a smooth weekend with many highlights.”
