Amazon Prime Day has arrived, and with it the lineup of Prime Day espresso maker deals. That means that from right now this very moment, until midnight on July 17, you can find discounts on that pricey set piece for a good cafecore arrangement. Prime Day deals on espresso makers are always some of our favorites because a lot of the big, reliable names—your Brevilles, your De’Longhis, occasionally even Jura automatic espresso machines—come with pretty deep discounts. If you’re looking to get your first espresso machine, this is probably the best time to find the lowest price outside of the big holiday shopping season in November.
As always, we must remind you that the Prime Day deals are for Prime members only. If you want to sign up for a free 30-day trial (what you do with that trial after the sale ends is up to you), you can do so right here.
And if you’re looking for discounts on other kinds of coffee machines—drip coffee makers, French presses, cold brew coffee makers, or pour-over carafes—check out our list of the best Prime Day coffee maker deals.

Breville Espresso Machines
For years, Breville‘s espresso makers outperformed the competition in our teams’ rigorous espresso machine product testing, and right now a few models are on sale, including one with a touchscreen. Every discounted Breville machine comes with a built-in grinder, which, we have to confess, is a feature we haven’t always loved, as they tend to be underpowered compared to stand alone burr grinders. But, fun industry fact for you: Breville bought respected grinder company Baratza several years ago and they have begun putting Baratza grinders in their newer machines, which should address some of the issues we found with older Breville’s jamming up. Particularly cool is the smart grinding and tamping technology on the Breville Express Impress. If you’re ready to finally live out your barista dreams in the comfort of your own home—and ditch that hand-held milk frother for an espresso machine with a built-in steam wand—consider one of the machines below.
De’Longhi La Specialista Arte Evo Espresso Machines
The Specialista Arte espresso machines from De’Longhi are similar to the Breville Barista Express machines, but when we tested them we found they made fewer messes. The cleanliness is thanks to a few design touches, like a screw-on dosing funnel that attaches to the portafilter to reduce coffee grounds and a small step to add onto the drip tray when brewing into a shot glass so coffee doesn’t splash out.
Oxo Conical Burr Grinder with Scale
We’re sure you’re not grinding your espresso with one of those Edward Scissorhands-style coffee grinders that slashes your beans into inconsistent shards. Right? (Right?!) But if you haven’t opted for an espresso machine with a built-in grinder and are in need of a new one, or want to gift one to someone who’s still grinding coffee or espresso beans with a glorified spice grinder (which can ruin even the best coffee beans), this Oxo burr grinder with a built-in scale is a great way make sure you’re getting the right amount of coffee in your shot. It can change slightly from bag of beans to bag of beans, but the general rule is you want 18 grams of ground coffee for espresso. The Oxo grinder is far and away the least expensive grinder with a scale built-in to tell you that. On Prime Day it’s even more affordable.
Nespresso Vertuo Plus Machines
If you are a house divided (coffee drinkers and latte or cappuccino drinkers living under the same roof) Amazon Prime Day is a great time to free up some valuable countertop real estate with a Nespresso machine from the Vertuo line. Nespresso’s Vertuo machines aren’t your typical single-serve coffee makers (ahem, we’re looking at you, Keurig). They’re high-quality, 2-in-1 devices: coffee makers and espresso makers that yield a damn-fine cup of coffee and impressive expresso-style shots at the push of a button. Right now, our favorite model and Epi’s top-tested pick—the Nespresso Vertuo Plus—is on sale. You can buy just the machine or save on a machine bundled with the Aeroccino 3 (a milk frother that makes hot and cold frothed milk).
This is also a great time to snag a deal on the Nespresso Vertuo Pop machine, a compact, small-space-friendly version of the Vertuo Plus that also uses the Vertuo pods and brews both cups of coffee and shots of espresso. Sale prices depend on the color and bundle (and will likely change before the two-day sales event officially begins) but here are two discounted options to consider right now.
Nespresso Inissia Espresso Machine
If you’re really short on counter space and mostly drink espresso shots or Americanos (or iced Americanos, which many of us prefer to iced coffee), this compact machine from Nespresso’s Original line is on sale today too. (Read more about the differences between the Veruto and Original lines.)
