The best Le Creuset pieces don’t always get marked down during big sales events like Prime Big Deal Days, but right now, you can still save 27%—that’s over $100—on what we consider to be the most versatile size and shape (5.5-quart, round) of this iconic enameled cast iron Dutch oven (for most home cooks, anyway). We happen to love this lively Flame red, but a few other sizes and shapes are marked down today too. NOTE: Over the course of this two-day sale, we’ve seen the discount on this piece jump around everywhere from 21% to 27% off, so don’t let this deal sit in your cart too long.
All-Clad is the, er, gold standard of stainless-steel cookware and if you’re in the market for a new frying pan, you can’t go wrong with our favorite: this 12-inch D3 3-Ply pan. Grab it right now while it’s 20% off.
More great Prime Day cookware deals:
We’re happy to see that some of our top-tested cookware is still on sale, including a stainless steel pan from All-Clad, which like a Le Creuset Dutch oven, can last you a lifetime with proper care. GreenPan’s Valencia Pro nonstick frying pan, which tops our list of the best (non-toxic) nonstick pans, is a best-seller among BA readers—and right now you can save on a set of two of these skillets with a sturdy tri-ply stainless steel base. This is also a great time to grab a discounted cookware set (know a recent grad or bride- or groom-to-be?). And if a Le Creuset Dutch oven is out of your budget right now, our aesthetically-similar budget pick is on sale today too.

The Vitamix 5200 blender is one of the best Prime Day deals, period. This has been our top-tested and most recommended blender for years because it’s powerful, durable, and doesn’t have any unnecessary bells and whistles. For a Vitamix, its’ a good value any day of the year, and right now you can get it for 26% off.
The Nutribullet Ultra changed the way we think about personal blenders; our entire shopping team went from pretty much hating them to loving this one. And today, you can save 38% on this bundle that includes four cups, three to-go lids, and four stainless steel straws so you can take your smoothies, soups, sauces, and even your frozen cocktails on the go.

If you’re ready to clear some small-appliance clutter from your kitchen counter, take advantage of the deal on this Smart Oven Air Fryer Pro from Breville. It’s a high-end air fryer oven with precise temperature control and 13 cooking modes, including pizza, proof, roast, reheat, slow cook, dehydrate, and, of course, air fry. It’s also big enough to cook up to a 14-pound Thanksgiving turkey—and it does so amazingly efficiently. It’s so good, I don’t even use my full-size oven. Like ever. I use this roomy, versatile countertop oven for everything.
More Prime Day small appliance deals:
Good appliances often come with big price tags, so you can score some serious savings if you take advantage of sale events like Big Deal Days to replace the toaster or toaster oven you’ve had since college or finally upgrade your blender and get that Vitamix you’ve been eyeing.

Last-minute Prime Day deals on coffee gear

A Nespresso Vertuo machine is the best single-serve coffee maker you can buy and the compact Nespresso Pop+ is one of the newer Nespresso Vertuoline machines. This Pop+ is perfect for someone who’s short on space but still wants the convenience of the Vertuo machines—which make coffee and espresso-style shots at the push of a single button thanks to barcodes printed on the rim of each recyclable Vertuo pod. Today you can save more than 25% on a Pop+ bundled with Nespresso’s Aeroccino 3 milk frother (it makes hot and cold frothed milk!).
The grinders built into espresso machines are usually disappointing, but this Breville machine uses high-quality Baratza parts and it performed really well in our testing. This is also already a fairly affordable machine (especially considering the good grinder) and today’s deal basically makes it a $1,000 espresso machine—which is a great price for a good espresso machine.
More Prime Day coffee and espresso deals:
You can also snag discounts on some already-affordable coffee gear. If you’ve been considering going the at-home route for your espresso habit, our favorite machine with a built in grinder (from Breville) is 33% off—making it a cool grand, which is actually pretty low for a high-quality brewer.

Last-minute Prime Day deals on kitchen tools and gadgets
We’ve been recommending the Mac Professional Hollow Edge 8-inch chef’s knife for years because it’s versatile and easy to sharpen. It’s also accessibly priced and today you can get it for even less when you take advantage of this Prime Big Deal Day offer.

Your knives need a safe, sturdy place to land while you’re chopping and slicing and this budget-friendly reversible Boos Board is one our favorite wood boards. This high-quality board is durable, arrives oiled, and has two recessed handles if you want to use it as a serving board. Right now you can save 15% on the 20-by-15-inch size.
More Prime Day deals on tools and gadgets:
Prime Day is a great time to pick up some of those less expensive kitchen essentials, like a new scale, kitchen shears, or a peeler. Or maybe it’s time to finally treat yourself to that salad spinner you’ve been considering. You can also save on a smart meat thermometer, a garlic press, and a new set of stainless-steel measuring spoons. And if you’re still mixing your powdered drinks with a spoon, pick up a hand-held frother while it’s still on sale (it’s also great for emulsifying salad dressing!)

Kitchen storage containers still on sale for Prime Day
We’ve been recommending these space-saving silicone food storage bags for years. In addition to general food and meal prep storage, they can be used as leakproof lunch or snack containers that can go in the fridge, freezer, microwave, and even oven. Oh, and they’re dishwasher-safe for easy cleaning.
More Prime Day food storage deals:
You don’t need to wait for spring to do a little sprucing in your kitchen. Finally de-clutter your cabinets and fridge with the help of handy containers—that actually have their lids (for now, anyway). You can get great deals on containers from trusted brands like Rubbermaid and Oxo.

Even if you have a built-in range hood, you still might want to consider a dedicated kitchen air purifier because it turns out that not even restaurant-quality exhaust systems can capture all the smoke and oil mist that gets released into the air when cooking. In addition to clearing the air while you cook—which can help your whole home smell fresher—a powerful air purifier can help to reduce the accumulation of what I call “that high-up kitchen grime.” I’ve use Shark’s NeverChange Air Purifier, which displays my indoor air quality in real time and kicks into high gear when I’m cooking. The HEPA filter will also last for up to five years. Right now, you can get this model (HP152) at the lowest price I’ve seen all year and the Max model is 26% off.
The V15s Detect Submarine is a Dyson stick vacuum with an additional wet mopping component that can be attached to the shaft just like you’d attach the hard floor roller or motorized rug roller. Unlike a true vac mop, which simultaneously mops and vacuums at the same time, the Submarine vacuums and mops separately, with separate heads. It doesn’t suck up anything while it mops (the motor just powers the microfiber mop roller and water situation) so it doesn’t clean hard floors in one pass like a mop vac does. But in my product testing, I found that even the best vac mop sucks at vacuuming rugs—and that’s where the V15s Detect Submarine excels.
More Prime Day cleaning deals:
Some of my favorite cleaning products are on sale, including a hand soap designed for cooks that has me smelling my hands every time I wash them, a super-versatile dish scrubby, and an adorable little broom-and-dustpan set I use to sweep off my counter and table. You can also save on the washing machine cleaner tabs I use to clean my machine after I wash my kitchen linens (yes, every time!). This is also a great time to save on luxe, high-end cleaning products from The Laundress, and you might as well stock up on dishwasher detergent pods while they’re on sale too. The discounted Dyson below is the base model of the Submarine model, and if you’re in the market for a new vacuum cleaner, but don’t need a mopping component, take advantage of this deal—because I rarely see newer models get marked down this much.

Prime Day tableware deals you can still snag today
Duralex Picardie tumblers are ubiquitous because they’re timeless, versatile (I use the 8-ounce glasses for my flat whites), stackable, and they come in a handful of fun colors. They’re also super durable; I once dropped one into my cast iron sink and my kids have dropped them on the floor and I haven’t lost (or even chipped) one in the four years I’ve had them.

Tableware deals:
Prime Day is also a great time to upgrade your tableware. If you need a new flatware set, today you can still save on a polished set from Lenox that looks even more high-end in person, as well as timeless set from Oneida that, yes, just might be your mother’s flatware. If you sometimes need a few spare plates, or you’re stocking a kitchen from scratch, the Amazon Basics plates are shockingly nice—and perfectly nondescript. Finally, Year & Day is making some of the prettiest unbreakable outdoor dishes we’ve seen, and right now you can still save up to 50% on a set of pasta bowls (deals vary by color).
Prime Day food and drink deals
Prime Day is a great time to stock up on your favorite pantry staples like olive oil, coffee beans, and specialty condiments. These are some of our favorites, and they tend to pop in and out of stock fast during Prime Big Deal Days. Currently, we’re eyeing a killer deal on OLIPOP, our favorite prebiotic soda. It’s 29% off right now, bringing each can down to just $1.70—a small price to pay for a healthier soda fix.
Looking for deals on supplements, protein powders, and protein bars? Head right this way.

How Bon Appétit vets these deals
Everything on this list has either our official or unofficial stamp of approval. Yes, that means every Dutch oven, toaster oven, oven-safe food storage container, and lots of other kitchen gadgets that don’t have “oven” in the name—on this list either performed well in our official testing, or someone on staff uses it at home and actually recommends it.
What is Amazon Prime Big Deal Days?
A few years ago Amazon began running back its Prime Day sales in the fall ahead of the holiday shopping season. It’s a chance for people to pull the trigger on any deals they hesitated on and missed during the OG Prime Day in July.
When is Amazon Prime Day this fall?
Unlike Amazon’s summer Prime Day sale which, for the first time ever, was four days long, Prime Big Deal Days remains the standard two days. It runs from Tuesday, October 7 through Wednesday, October 8, so if you see something you want, get it while it’s on sale. (As always, we also saw some good early deals, but the best deals happen once the sale is live—which is now!—and you won’t see these prices again until Black Friday.)
Do I have to be a Prime member to get the best deals?
Mostly, you do. For the vast majority of sales that come online during the event you will need an Amazon Prime membership, which costs $139 a year. Now, as people who frequently utilize Prime shipping in both our professional and personal lives, we can say that it can pay for itself pretty quickly (in time saved if nothing else). A change from earlier Prime Day sales though is that Amazon seems to have discontinued its free 30-day trial.
Previously, you could sign up for a free Prime Trial before or during Prime Day and then cancel if you decided it wasn’t your thing. Instead of a free Trial, Amazon now offers a week of Prime benefits for $1.99. That will still give you access to Prime Day deals for almost free—no coupons required.
What’s on sale during Amazon Prime Day?
To put it simply, a lot of stuff. We typically see deals on thousands of items throughout the multi-day event, spanning dozens of product categories. If there’s something you’ve been eyeing, chances are it’ll be on sale at some point. But if you’re just wondering what kitchen deals are worth snagging, you’ve come to the right place.
How much are items typically discounted?
Per Amazon’s seller forum, items must be discounted “at least 20% off the non-member, non-promotional price” to qualify as a Prime Day deal. But we’ve seen items go on sale for upward of 50% off—that can mean hundreds of dollars in savings. That said, we’ve also included a few on-sale kitchen items that we love that may not be a full 20% off, but we think they’re a good deal anyway. Some of the October Prime Day deals, including some of the best kitchen deals, may be available to you even if you’re not a Prime member.
