“September” may be far away but Earth Wind and Fire is busy making summer plans.
The legendary R&B outfit just announced they’re reviving their co-headlining ‘Sing A Song All Night Long Tour’ with Lionel Richie in summer 2026.
They’ll hit arenas all over North America from June through August.
That includes a pair of stops in New York. These shows are slated to take place at:
Madison Square Garden
New York, NY
Saturday, July 11
UBS Arena
Belmont Park, NY
Tuesday, July 14
Prior to this tour, the ’70s hitmakers last toured together in summer 2024. At those concerts, EWF typically delivered 15-song performances, according to Set List FM. ‘Shining Star,” “Sing A Song,” “Fantasy,” “Let’s Groove” and, yes, “September” were just a few of the notable tracks that often made the cut.
Richie, who’s currently judging the 24th season of “American Idol,” would usually rock 17 tunes like fan favorites “Hello,” “Three Times A Lady,” “Brick House,” “We Are The World” and “All Night Long” among others, Set List FM reports.
Onstage Magazine raved “…the concert at the KFC Yum! Center was more than just a performance; it was a celebration of music’s power to unite and uplift” about a June ’24 ‘Sing A Song All Night Long’ gig.
In addition to the summer trek, Earth Wind and Fire will lend their talents to Atlanta’s HBCU AwareFest (March 26) and the New Orleans Jazz Festival (April 30 through May 3).
