Going to Walmart is always a fun little excursion. There’s something about the sheer scale of it—the thousands of products, the maze of aisles, and the thrill of an affordable haul. In the suburbs, it practically an activity in and of itself. The first time I went as a middle schooler is etched in my memory—both thrilling and overwhelming. I wanted everything: lip gloss, shampoo, hair masks, hair clips, headbands—too many things to name.
