Day of the Devs, the annual non-profit indie video game showcase engine, shared a new presentation following the 2026 Summer Game Fest showcase. Below are all the games announced and shown. Many games were brand new, but others are games we already knew about that have new details, like a release date.
Blood Dungeon

From the creators of Nidhogg and Wheel World, Blood Dungeon is a platformer that the developer Mark Essen describes as a cross between Vampire Survivors and Spelunky that is ultimately about gravity.
Tenebris Somnia

Tenebris Somnia is a pixelated survival horror game about being trapped in a nightmare that features professional live-action sequences alongside its gameplay.
Mr. Records
Developer: Neil Broadhead

From the creators of Headbangers: Rhythm Royale and Musical Story, Mr. Records is a new platformer rhythm game reminiscent of games like Bit.Trip Runner and Harmoknight, where you play as Mr. Records (a record shop owner) who essentially moves and leaps through music.
33 Immortals

33 Immortals, the co-op roguelike that boasts up to 33 players, is exiting Early Access and releasing in just a few days.
Dreadmoor

Dreadmoor is an adventure game set in a creepy, dark, post-apocalyptic world where you fish and loot treasure from the water to progress.
Threads of Time
Developer: Riyo Games

Threads of Time is a throwback RPG with impressive visuals inspired by the greats like Chrono Trigger. Riyo Games teased that it is working with RPG development luminaries and will share more details soon.
N Plus Infinity Times Two
Developer & Publisher: Metanet Software Inc.
Release: 2027
Developer Metanet has, in a way, been working on this one game for more than 20 years. Released as a browser game in 2004 and simply titled N, each iteration has been billed as a new version of the original game rather than a numbered sequel. It’s a challenging yet simple platformer focused almost exclusively on game feel and mechanics. The oddly titled latest version is more Smash Bros.-inspired multiplayer, but there will be single-player challenges, as well.
Into the Unwell

Into the Unwell is a third-person roguelite with a rubber hose animation-inspired style (think Cuphead or Mouse: P.I. For Hire).
Bub

Bub is a narrative adventure game about the nature of making art in New York City, with a style that looks like it is made of layered paper cutouts.
Lazy River

Lazy River is a co-op first-person shooter set in a waterpark in space where peeing in the pool creates zombies. You also have to build a raft to help you survive and escape the park.
Prove You’re Human

The new game from the creators of 1000xResist was announced recently, but Day of the Devs revealed new details about it. In the game, your mind is copied and placed in a digital world where you must prove to an AI that it is not human.
Ithaca

From the creators of Inua, a Story in Ice and Time, Bury me, my Love, The Wreck, and Wednesdays, Ithaca is a narrative RPG where you drive a rideshare vehicle while unraveling a mystery.
Screenbound

Screenbound has been in development for some time. The game is both a 2D and a first-person 3D platformer, where you play in 3D space and on a 2D Game Boy-like device. Along with a platformer, there is also now a Zelda-inspired overhead adventure game. Screenbound is finally arriving in October of this year.
Shot One Fighters

Shot One Fighters is a rogue game where you are playing a fighting game, an atypical genre within the rogue genre. As you progress through your runs, you will expand your movesets and abilities.
Apple Crumble

From the creators of Duck Detective, Apple Crumble is a mystery thriller inspired by books such as Murder on the Orient Express and movies such as Knives Out.
Slap Out of It
Developer & Publisher: Turbo Button
Release: 2027
Slap Out Of It is a “comedy sandbox” where you explore and meet weird puppet-like characters, and you interact with the world by slapping things and people. It is the developer’s first non-VT game. The game also features voice performer Ben Starr.
Super Yooka-Laylee Kart
Developer & Publisher: Playtonic Games

Super Yooka-Laylee Kart is a Yooka-Laylee spin-off kart racing featuring Yooka-Laylee characters. The game has a pixelated style more in line with the original SNES Super Mario Kart. Developer Playtonic plans to release a beta and will share more details soon.
Into the Fire

In Into the Fire, you are attempting to rescue survivors in a world being ravaged by flames. The team conducted extensive fire safety research and training to help them develop the game.
Trine 6: Together in Time

Trine is a fantasy co-op platforming series that has always offered local co-op. Together in Time is the sixth entry in the ongoing series.
When Sirens Fall Slient

Set in 90s Italy, When Sirens Fall Silent is a psychological thriller where you are a policewoman trying to solve an intense case involving kidnappings and murders. It’s the new title from the creators of The Town of Light and Martha is Dead.
