Aston Villa have completed a deal to bring in forward Jadon Sancho on a season-long loan from Manchester United, with a move for Liverpool midfielder Harvey Elliott also close to completion.
Villa are guaranteed to pay 80% of Sancho’s wages, while the loan fee and easily achievable bonuses mean United expect to get full wage coverage overall.
