George Clooney did not mince words when he recalled working with a “miserable f–k” Hollywood director who he claims made his filming experience unbearable.
In a joint cover story for GQ alongside pal Brad Pitt, Clooney blasted “Three Kings” director David O. Russell, saying he made “my life hell” and “every person on the crew’s life hell” on set.
In the interview, Clooney, 63, said that getting older has made him prioritize his acting roles differently, saying he now only wants to work with “people who like what they do.”
“The older you get, time allotment is very different,” he told the publication.
“Five months out of your life is a lot. And so it’s not just like, ‘Oh, I’m going to go do a really good film, like ‘Three Kings,’ and I’m going to have a miserable f–k like David O Russell making my life hell. Making every person in the crew’s life hell.’
“It’s not worth it,” he continued. “Not at this point in my life. Just to have a good product.”
The Post has reached out to Russell’s reps for comment.
The “Gravity” actor’s long-standing feud with the “American Hustle” director has been public knowledge for decades.
After fighting tooth and nail to land the leading role in the heist black comedy, the relationship quickly turned sour for Clooney.
Speaking to Playboy in 2000, Clooney claimed that the director screamed at people “all day, from day one,” adding that making the film was “truly, without exception, the worst experience of my life.”
In the interview, Clooney said he wrote a letter to Russell in which he told him to calm down for the sake of the film.
Elsewhere, the actor alleged that Russell got physical with one of the film’s extras over a stunt, however, this claim was denied by the director in 2004.
Clooney is no stranger to speaking out about his experiences in Tinsel Town.
The actor — who shares two kids with wife Amal Clooney — previously made similar remarks about the 1997 film “Batman & Robin,” saying that there’s “not enough drugs in the world” to make him play the character again.
“There was such a clamor for me to come back as Batman, as you know. Why are you making that face? I saw that face,” he told ET in December 2023.
“I actually said, ‘Where are my rubber nipples?’ And they were like, ‘Can we do it without the rubber nipples?’ I was like, ‘Well, it’s not really my Batman, is it?’”
