- Use your scissors to cut out different shapes.
- Put glitter around the bottom edge and top edge of your bookmark.
- Put a heart with googly eyes inside your bookmark.
- Add different fun shapes that represent Valentines day like candy, lips, etc.

- Add paper hearts using paper with designs on it.
Our Experience With This Heart Bookmark Craft
We’ve made so many Valentine’s day cards and crafts lately that I wanted to do something kind of Valentine’s and something kind of not. And I’ve seen so many different type of bookmarks. Some that you can put on the top of the paper, an origami heart bookmark, fabric heart bookmarks, origami heart corner bookmark and they were all cute, but I wanted something different.
And here it is! I got this idea from a friend who makes glitter stickers this way. And my kids are book lovers. So I thought this would be a fun way to combine both crafts into one. My kids LOVED it. Especially the glitter. By the way, craft aprons and a mat underneath this craft is a game changer. Also, have your vacuum ready. Turns out little kids can’t always be trusted with glitter, who knew?! I’m kidding, I expect a mess when we craft, but that’s half the fun.
I hope your family had as much fun as we did making these heart bookmarks!
