Ways To Modify This Golf Toss Game For Younger Children

Younger children may not have the same power behind their throws as an older kid. If your child is still pretty small, put the funnels close together. Putting them in a straight line may also make it a little easier.

Ways To Modify This Golf Toss Game For Older Children

Older children will have a little more power. You can progressively spread the funnels out, not to the point of making it impossible, but to give them a challenge. Maybe zig zag them, put on in the middle, on to the left, and on to the far right, then back to the middle or off center. Make it a challenge.

Golf Toss Game Rules

There aren’t too many rules. But these are the ones my family uses:

  • Step about a foot away from the first funnel and try to toss the ball in.
  • If you make it, let everyone go, then step to that funnel and throw from there.
  • Each person has 3 turns. That means if you get a hole in 1, you get 3 points. If you miss one, but get it on the second try you get 2 points and so on and so forth.
  • Babies can walk up and put the ball in. Unless they really wanna throw.

Our Experience With This Golf Toss Game

This is actually a game my family has played for a while and one we enjoy immensely. It’s just fun to get outside and do something together. And it’s not an overly challenging game, though, I won’t lie some of those throws can be tricky.

But everyone can be involved. Even the little ones who may walk up to put the ball in. But that’s okay, the point is having fun. And besides my baby doesn’t care about points. She cares about the yay and clapping afterwards. My older kids on the other hand care about their points.

But it’s fun really for everyone. And I really hope your family has as much fun playing this golf toss game as mine did.
